Archos Media Player…
Keeping in step with my cousin. I ordered my media player today. I got the Archos 605 Wi-Fi Portable Media Player (160 GB) as well as the Battery Docking Adapter. Should have by tomorrow, Thursday at the latest. I so excited. The Archos players are gorgeous. Only got a little time in with my cousins, but it is sooo easy to use. No software needed. Just plugged it into my laptop, and drag & drop files onto it. Bee-yoo-tee-ful!
I only have two complaints at this point. If you use the carrying case they give you then there is no place to put your headphones. The other complaint is that, unless you have the DVR station or the docking adapter, it takes forever to charge it. And by forever, I mean forever. Those are only minor complaints though because I put my headphones in my bag with my media player anyway and I am going to buy the DVR station soon. The touch screen is so fuckin awesome and the movies look so perty!

I’m glad you’re digging the Archos. As someone who cant vibe with the iPod’s scroll wheel, the Archos is my player of choice – I just have to buy one for myself lol.

Still haven’t gotten my archos yet. I’m a sad, and slightly annoyed panda.
As for iPod, I never have used one, I just knew I didn’t want one. Didn’t appeal to me for whatever reason. I’m sure I’ll be more than happy with my archos.
